Halsnead Garden Village near Whiston is the largest combined housing and employment development in the Liverpool City Region.

One of a select number of areas to be awarded garden village status by the Government, it will feature 33 hectares of new green space, a new 28 hectare country park and include 1,600 new high-quality homes, including a significant number of affordable homes, and around 1,000,000 sq ft of new employment space to the south of the M62.

Now existing and future residents, visitors and anyone interested to find out more can visit a brand-new website: www.halsneadgardenvillage.co.uk

The website is home to lots of useful information about the Garden Village including updates on green spaces, job opportunities, the types of homes available, community facilities and the local area.

Visitors can also hear from some of the new residents about their experiences of living in Halsnead Garden Village and what attracted them to the development.

The site includes a handy list of FAQs for people who want to find out more.

The Halsnead Garden Village development is already taking shape. The first proud new home-owners have been welcomed to the Garden Village and the first employment unit at Symmetry Park is preparing to welcome couriers Yodel in the coming months. The new employment space will create around 1,000 new jobs.

Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said: “The new website provides a great resource for people wanting to learn more about this fantastic new development. As well as providing a wonderful place to live and visit, Halsnead Garden Village will benefit all Knowsley residents, providing a major economic boost and delivering around 1,000 new jobs at the employment site.”
