Great news for Kirkby! Work is well underway on an exciting new restaurant in Kirkby town centre.
Casa Roni will be located at 24 Newtown Gardens in the heart of the town centre, bringing a fresh Italian dining experience for visitors and residents to enjoy.
External improvement works, including new windows, door, signage and lighting have already been completed ahead of schedule. Internal fit out will now begin, with Casa Roni set to open later this year.
The owner of Casa Roni, Baris Coskuncay, owns several popular restaurants including the very successful Casa Rima restaurant in Halewood.
Baris Coskuncay, owner of Casa Roni, said: “I’m delighted to bring my offer to Kirkby and really look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to Casa Roni when my doors open later this year.
“Casa Roni will offer not only amazing food and drinks, but it will also provide a modern and contemporary space to meet, eat, drink and socialise.”
Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, added: “We know from our engagement with residents that there is a real appetite for a food and drink offer in the town, as well as a stronger night-time economy.
“We have listened and have been actively engaging with operators and I’m delighted to welcome Baris and Casa Roni to Kirkby.
“It’s great to see Kirkby’s transformation over the last few years with the delivery of the retail development, and more to come with the second phase of retail confirmed with Lidl as the lead operator, more new homes being delivered and plans to address local priorities through the £19.5m Pride in Place programme.”
