Demand for classes at Hot Curl Pilates in Kirkby

by Guy Murphy

Hot Curl Pilates opened in Kirkby town centre four months’ ago, offering fitness and wellbeing classes in a new, state-of-the-art studio.

Elizabeth Ball, owner to Hot Curl Pilates, said “I absolutely love being based in Kirkby.  I knew instantly that opening in the Town Centre was the right decision — We’re genuinely building something special here and encourage everyone to get involved.”

“I’m part of a real business community, where everyone genuinely wants the best for one another. I’ve already collaborated with Made to be Mum, Kirkby Coffee and our neighbour Bodyfuel, and it’s been amazing to see how well we complement each other and support one another’s offerings.

“I’m also excited to be teaming up with Kirkby Coffee this Valentine’s Day to host a Galentine’s Wellness event at the studio — another chance to bring the community together in a really special way.”

Hot Curl Pilates offers a range of activities and classes to suit all interests and abilities, from beginner classes, dynamic reformer, meditation and sound healing.

The studio offers flexible payment options including pay as you go options or 4, 8 and 12 session class pass bundles.

Recently, a new “Disco Reformer” class has been introduced which has been extremely popular – it’s a combination of the signature reformer burn with disco tunes — the perfect way to kick off a Friday night! Due to demand, an extra class has been added with classes now at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm every Friday.

More classes are also in the pipeline over the coming weeks and months, including mobility classes and courses designed for anyone struggling with mobility, flexibility, stretching or injuries, as well as pre- and post-natal classes for our mums and mums-to-be.

Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, added “It’s great to hear about Elizabeth’s success at Hot Curl Pilates and that her offer is proving to be so popular.

“It’s in a prime location – in the heart of the town centre, in a new building as part of the retail development, with free car parking close by.

“I know that though engagement with our local communities, they wanted a broad offer in their town centre and Hot Curl Pilates is helping to bring something different to the traditional high street offer.

“Well done Elizabeth on your success to date.”
