From this week, the council will be sending text and email Council Tax reminders to residents, to help avoid any unnecessary costs and prevent residents getting into arrears.
The new service can also help to prevent further statutory recovery notices being issued and may help you avoid additional costs.
To avoid missing payments, you can set up a Direct Debit to ensure the bill is paid automatically every month – more information can be found on the Set up a direct debit page on the council’s website.
