Councillor Tony Brennan, Knowsley Council’s Regeneration and Economic Development Cabinet Member, said: “I was delighted to visit The Coffee House today and look forward to their doors officially opening tomorrow. I extend a very warm welcome to Chris and his team.
“Back in March 2020, we asked residents and visitors what makes a good town centre. As well as a supermarket, more food and drink outlets was a key priority. We have listened and I’m delighted that The Coffee House has extended their offer in Knowsley by opening an outlet in Kirkby. Their Huyton outlet has proved incredibly popular and I’m sure the Kirkby outlet will prove to be a huge success.”
Chris Shelmerdine from the Coffee House added: “We are delighted to open our second Coffee House in Knowsley and are looking forward to welcoming the Kirkby community into our new venture in Kirkby Town Centre.
“This is the second project we have delivered in partnership with Knowsley Council, and we are really grateful to the team at the Council for their continued commitment and support to get us here today.”
The Coffee House in Kirkby is open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Saturday and 9am until 4pm on Sunday. You can read more about The Coffee House here.
