The Coffee House will be officially opening its doors in Kirkby Town Centre tomorrow (Saturday 26 August 2023).

This is their sixteenth outlet and their second in Knowsley, having opened in Huyton Village Centre in 2019.

The Coffee House in Kirkby is located in a large 1,668 sq ft unit (previously two units) on Telegraph Way in the heart of the town centre and it also offers an outdoor seating area.

There’s also free parking for up to 460 cars for up to three hours just outside The Coffee House.

The Coffee House produce a speciality coffee blend in its state of art Roastery creating a well-rounded medium house roast, as well as serving a variety of teas, hot chocolates, milkshakes and iced drinks. Plus there’s a wide range of food served daily, from breakfast muffins, toasties, paninis, wraps, sandwiches and salads as well as delicious homemade cakes, pastries, and even handmade bread and teacakes.

Councillor Tony Brennan, Knowsley Council’s Regeneration and Economic Development Cabinet Member, said: “I was delighted to visit The Coffee House today and look forward to their doors officially opening tomorrow. I extend a very warm welcome to Chris and his team.

“Back in March 2020, we asked residents and visitors what makes a good town centre. As well as a supermarket, more food and drink outlets was a key priority. We have listened and I’m delighted that The Coffee House has extended their offer in Knowsley by opening an outlet in Kirkby. Their Huyton outlet has proved incredibly popular and I’m sure the Kirkby outlet will prove to be a huge success.”

Chris Shelmerdine from the Coffee House added: “We are delighted to open our second Coffee House in Knowsley and are looking forward to welcoming the Kirkby community into our new venture in Kirkby Town Centre.

“This is the second project we have delivered in partnership with Knowsley Council, and we are really grateful to the team at the Council for their continued commitment and support to get us here today.”

The Coffee House in Kirkby is open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Saturday and 9am until 4pm on Sunday. You can read more about The Coffee House here.
