Knowsley Council is supporting Armed Forces Day this Saturday 27 June 2026.
The day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets.

Armed Forces Covenant
The Armed Forces Covenant is a voluntary statement of mutual support between a civilian community and its local Armed Forces Community. It encompasses the moral obligation between the Nation, the Government and the Armed Forces at the local level.
Knowsley Council and representatives from a range of partner agencies signed the Official Armed Forces Community Covenant in November 2015. This ceremony reaffirmed the commitment of the borough to develop agreed priorities for in-service and ex-service personnel, Veterans, and their families in the areas of health and well-being, education, employment, safer communities, and housing.
