Shakespeare North Playhouse scoops three RIBA North West Awards

Shakespeare North Playhouse scooped three awards at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) North West Awards on Thursday 30 May 2024.

The Royal Institute of British Architects is a global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture.

Judged and presented locally, RIBA Regional Awards celebrate great architecture across the UK.

Successful projects reflect changes and innovations in architecture, but at their core display a commitment to designing and developing buildings and spaces for the improvement and enhancement of people’s lives.

Shakespeare North Playhouse received the:-

  • Building of the Year 2024 Award
  • Regional Award
  • Project Architect of the Year 2024 Award for Nicholas Helm at Helm Architecture with Executive Architects Austin-Smith Lord
