The Knowsley Works team have moved into new premises in Kirkby town centre.
Located on St Chad’s Parade, the team are available to provide employment and training support Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.

Knowsley Works is a free service supporting local residents into work through:-
- Paid employment
- Training
- Information and advice
- Coaching and mentoring
- Skills development
- 1 to 1 support
- Job search
- CV and job application support
- Interview preparation and techniques
Knowsley Works also provide support to employers across the Borough who have vacancies available. This includes advertising vacancies, shortlisting and interviewing applicants.
Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said: “Our Knowsley Works team has a fantastic track record of finding employment and training opportunities aligned to our residents’ needs so I’d encourage anyone who is looking for work, looking to move jobs or looking to upskill, to call in and speak to the team today.”
Cllr Jayne Aston, Cabinet Member for Resources, added: “I’m delighted to see Knowsley Works open on St Chad’s Parade, ensuring our residents have access to employment and training support. It also means that an empty shop unit is once again being used for the benefit of the community.”
The team can also signpost you to additional support around issues such as debt management, health and lifestyle, counselling, women’s groups and family support groups.
As well as being based in Kirkby, the Knowsley Works Team are available in Huyton Village Centre (43 Derby Road, Huyton – Tel: 0151 443 5010) and Halewood (The Halewood Centre, Roseheath Drive, Halewood- Tel: 0151 443 2040).
In addition, job seekers who are receiving support from Knowsley Council’s Knowsley Works Team will receive a £5 voucher for every time they attend a pre-organised appointment to receive support finding employment, training or education. You can find out more about this initiative on Knowsley News.
