New Educational Psychology Service website launches

by Laura Johnston

The Knowsley Educational Psychology Service (EPS) has launched a new and improved website which is now live.

The website provides a clear and accessible central platform for children and young people, parents / carers and schools / settings to find information about the Service, Educational Psychology Service processes, project work and the wide range of work being undertaken across the borough.

The site introduces the dedicated team of Educational Psychologists, Trainee Educational Psychologists and Assistant Educational Psychologists. Individual one‑page profile summaries have been developed to help children and young people and their families get to know the team and understand their roles.

The website also explains how the service works across the five core functions of Educational Psychology – consultation, assessment, intervention, training and research, helping visitors to understand the different ways in which EPS work supports children, families and schools.

In addition, the website includes a range of helpful resources and signposting information, with dedicated pages developed specifically for children and young people and parents to support access to relevant information. The website will be used to share news, updates and further information about the work of the EPS.
