Free activities for children and young people this Easter

by Jonathan Kearney

Children and young people across Knowsley can once again look forward to a range of FREE healthy activities during the Easter holidays as part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme.

Approximately 4,550 HAF places will be accessible across the borough, with activities offered by a variety of different providers.

The HAF programme, delivered by Knowsley SNAP, offer a wide range of free activities, with a meal included as part of each session.

Activities will take place between Tuesday 2 and Friday 5 April 2024.

Highlights of the Easter programme include indoor and outdoor sports including football, dodgeball, skateboard workshops, rounders, yoga and much more!

The varied HAF will offer something to suit all tastes, including music workshops, retro video game workshops, arts and crafts sessions, cookery and nutrition sessions, dance, graffiti workshops and mindfulness sessions.

And of course with it being Easter there will be visits from the Easter bunny, Easter egg hunts and Easter card making sessions on offer!

Details of the sessions, including how to book, can be found on the One Knowsley website.
