Less than a year after opening their first studio in Kirkby, Hot Curl Pilates will be opening another studio in Huyton village centre.
Hot Curl Pilates opened in Kirkby on 6 October 2025 and due to the success and demand, owner Elizabeth Ball is expanding her offer into Huyton, which will be located on Derby Road in the heart of the village centre.
Elizabeth said “The last few months have been incredible and the community we have built is so special that I cannot wait to expand that community in Huyton.
“From a young age and still today, I’m part of a local dance team in Southdene, Kirkby which has shaped and influenced my ambition to open my own pilates business.
“My goal is to create a space where everyone can come together, let go and do something that’s good for them – both physically and mentally. We are a studio for people – no matter what your age or ability, we provide opportunities for people to have fun. Providing a space that is vibrant and welcoming has been delivered in Kirkby and now I can’t wait to expand this offer to Huyton where we know there is strong demand.
“I’m really looking forward to opening my doors over the coming months and expanding the offer of not just a reformer pilates studio, but the addition of our first infrared hot room where we will offer even more including mat pilates, yoga, boxing and HIIT classes – making the studio even more accessible and inclusive.”
Hot Curl Pilates offers a range of activities and classes to suit all interests and abilities, from beginner classes, all levels and intermediate, Disco Reformer and a new strength-based reformer class called ‘Hot Curl Special’, which blends aspects of weight training and reformer.
There’s also some special deals too including a 4, 8 and 12 class pass as well as a pay as you go option.
Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development added “I’m delighted that Elizabeth is expanding her offer in Huyton and it’s great to see another local company growing and expanding in the borough.
“I know that Hot Curl Pilates has proved to be incredibly popular in Kirkby and it will be great to see this offer in Huyton, providing more choice for residents and visitors.”
