The Knowsley Family Hub opened its doors to the community on Monday 4 September 2023 at The Pride Centre in Northwood, Kirkby.
The Family Hub brings families, partners and services together under one roof, making help and support accessible to local families.
There’s a range of sessions and activities for adults and children including:-
- English and Maths adult learning sessions
- Parenting Course
- Baby massage
- Well baby clinic
- Breast feeding coffee afternoon
- Family Healthy Lifestyle Course
- Baby explorers (0-12 months)
- Little explorers (12-24 months)
- Occupational Therapy for children
- Baby and bump pregnancy support
- Antenatal classes
- Smokefree pregnancy
- Little adventurers (0-5 years)

The Family Hub provides services that help give expectant parents and babies a great start to life, supporting parents through parenting classes, learning support, midwifery, health visiting, infant feeding advice and perinatal mental health support.
The offer and range of activities and support is regularly being reviewed to ensure it meets the needs of the local community. The Knowsley Family Hub at the Pride Centre is open from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.
