Did you know that you can register to vote from the age of 16?

It means that you will be ready to vote as soon as you turn 18.

Registering now will mean you are included on the Electoral Register and will be eligible to vote as soon as you turn 18.

How can I register to vote?

It takes a few minutes to register to vote and you’ll just need your National Insurance number – visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to find out more.

If you can’t register online, you can download a paper form.

You don’t need to register to vote before every election.
