The latest attraction at Court Hey Park is about to open its doors. Park visitors will soon be able to enjoy food and drink at the new Esposito’s café.
The arrival of new café is the latest exciting development at the park following the arrival of One Knowsley, the infrastructure support body for the social sector in Knowsley.
One Knowsley has now moved its operations into the park Courtyard following a Community Asset Transfer from Knowsley Council and has secured the arrival of the new food outlet.
Esposito’s, which also operates a café at Mill Dam Park in Kirkby, will open in the courtyard area from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week – only closing on Christmas Day. As well as a selection of artisan hot and cold drinks, the café offers handmake cakes, sandwiches, bread and soups.
Racheal Jones, Chief Executive of One Knowsley said: “Since our arrival at Court Hey Park our aim has been to add to the park’s offering, by creating a community hub that can be used and enjoyed by everyone. The arrival of the café is the latest initiative which is increasing our residents’ enjoyment of this wonderful space.”
Esposito’s Managing Director Danny Esposito said: “We are absolutely delighted to be opening in Knowsley’s flagship Court Hey Park, and we want to do everyone proud. The cafe will be open 9 -5pm, 7 days a week. We want to be the hub of the community and our doors are open to everyone from groups, clubs, regular park users, local residents, the general public and beyond.
“The fantastic response we have had about Esposito’s coming to the park has been so uplifting and we can’t wait to be open now.”
