Did you know that you can now report crime related environmental issues in Knowsley by calling 0151 443 2400? The phone line is open from 9am until 4.45pm Monday to Friday, with an out of hours option for emergencies.
You can still report environment crime issues including fly tipping, litter, dog fouling and graffiti online via the “Report it” section on the council’s website – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Cllr Graham Morgan, Leader of Knowsley Council, said “It’s really important that our residents can report any issues affecting them and their local community quickly and easily.
“Now, as well as reporting issues online, residents can also call the Environmental Crime number, where staff can take details of the issue which will then be shared with the relevant council service to action.
“We know that such issues impact on our residents and can make local communities feel unwelcome and unsafe so we are doing all that we can to address environmental crime quickly as well as making it much easier for residents to report issues to us.”
