Knowsley residents can now access free energy support and advice from Citizens Advice Knowsley.

Residents can access a range of support including ways to make savings, making their home more energy efficient and reducing their energy usage.

The Energy Advice Project was launched at the Citizens Advice office in Kirkby.

Residents will be able to access support from a team of Energy Advisers, with assistance available with the following:

  • Ways to Lower Energy Costs/Bills
  • Energy Grants
  • Support with energy meters and understanding bills
  • Switching suppliers and switching tariffs
  • Energy Debts and Emergency Support
  • Energy Usage and Efficiency

Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, who attended the launch event, said: “At a time when so many people are struggling with the cost of living it is vital they can easily access dedicated support such as this, particularly around energy advice.”

Knowsley residents can access the service by emailing advice@citizensadviceknowsley.org.uk, calling Citizens Advice on 0808 278 7839 or by visiting the Citizens Advice Knowsley website.
