by Guy Murphy

At the meeting of Council on 4 March 2026, elected members approved the Annual Delivery Plan for 2026/27, which sets out the key actions the Council will take over the next financial year to deliver the Knowsley Council Plan 2025–2030 priorities.

The Annual Delivery Plan was previously endorsed by Cabinet at its budget meeting on 11 February 2026.

Knowsley Council Plan 2025-2030

Adopted in April 2025, the Knowsley Council Plan 2025-2030 places a clear focus on the Council’s role in supporting residents to thrive and helping people overcome inequality.

The plan is underpinned by three key priorities, which the annual delivery plan will focus on achieving. These are:

  • Delivering effective, high-quality services and support for residents
  • Encouraging growth that benefits everyone
  • Delivering targeted support to encourage fairness and opportunity for all
