Health and Social Care Worker – Together We Care – Part-Time

Redaction Support Officer
Salary is £28,598 to £31,022 per annum and the closing date is 7 June 2026.
You will be required to ensure all documents are redacted in accordance with Data Protection requirements and best practice guidance and provide advice and guidance to Council staff, where appropriate, as directed by the Council’s Data Protection Officer, Deputy Data Protection Officer and Data Protection Compliance Officers.
The role will also be required to support the Information Governance Team in ensuring that the Council meets a high level of compliance with data protection law and in embedding a culture of data protection and information security within the Council.

Principal IT Developer
Salary is £39,862 to £41,771 per annum, temporary contract and the closing date is 7 June 2026.
We are recruiting Principal IT Developers with experience of software engineering best practice and AI development. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of using AI agents and LLMs to deliver business requirements. They will also understand how to work as part of a team to achieve results.

Casual Library Assistant
Salary is £13.45 per hour, casual contract, flexible hours and the closing date is 7 June 2026.
Knowsley Library Service operates welcoming and vibrant libraries in Huyton, Kirkby, Halewood, Prescot and Stockbridge Village, as well as a Schools Library Service that issues and delivers books to local schools. We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join us as Casual Library Assistants. Successful candidates will work at all of the above branches as and when required, and should be able to travel to each location.

Community Builder (Physical Activity)
Salary: £32,061 to £33,699 per annum and the closing date is 12 June 2026. This is a fixed term post for 3 years.
Knowsley Council is working with Sport England to increase levels of physical activity across Knowsley. This role will be key to delivering our objectives of empowering communities across the Borough to live more active lives on their own terms, by understanding local barriers to activity and working with communities to remove them.

Senior Building Surveyor
Salary is £47,181to £48,226 per annum (plus a Market Supplement of up to 15% of salary (£7,077) and the closing date is 14 June 2026.
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the Assets Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, extremely organised and self-motivated person with construction knowledge to join the Building Projects Team.
As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects of varying sizes and complexities. The role could see the successful individual undertaking major refurbishment projects on public buildings or large-scale extensions to increase capacity in our schools. You will be responsible for delivering projects through the RIBA project lifecycle and take all stakeholders along the journey with you.

Trainee Building Inspector
Salary is £23,500 – £27,500 per annum (depending on experience), temporary contract , closing date is 15 June 2026.

Having already recruited and trained 200 people, LABC, the organisation that represents all local authority building control teams in England and Wales, is recruiting additional building control trainees to join their LABC Academy, starting in September 2026.
The LABC Academy Programme is a two-year fully funded programme that provides the opportunity to gain level 4 and level 5 diplomas in building control surveying whilst getting on-the-job experience with a local authority building control department.
