At a meeting of Cabinet on 11 February, elected members approved the annual delivery plan for 2026/2027. The annual delivery plan sets out the actions that will be taken over the year to deliver the priorities set out in the Knowsley Council Plan 2025-2030.
Adopted in April 2025, the Knowsley Council Plan 2025-2030 places a clear focus on the Council’s role in supporting residents to thrive and helping people overcome inequality.
The plan is underpinned by three key priorities, which the annual delivery plan will focus on achieving. These are:
- Delivering effective, high-quality services and support for residents
- Encouraging growth that benefits everyone
- Delivering targeted support to encourage fairness and opportunity for all
