Winners at Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards

by Lisa Bennett

Knowsley celebrated the success and achievements of the business and regeneration community at the annual Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards (on 24 November)

Hundreds of guests from Knowsley and beyond were at the glamorous awards ceremony which took place in the Grand Marquee in Knowsley Safari.

A total of 13 awards were presented to recognise the creativity, ingenuity and commitment of the individuals and organisations that are driving forward Knowsley’s economic success.

Cllr Mike Murphy, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development said: “It is always a really positive evening as the awards celebrate and showcase some of the amazing talent, dedication and passion that we have here in Knowsley.  We’re experiencing exceptional business growth in Knowsley and the awards are an opportunity for this to be recognised and demonstrate that Knowsley is a great place to work, invest and do business.”

Once again, all nominations were judged by members of the Knowsley Place Board, made up of senior figures from across the north west including representatives from Knowsley Hall & Safari, Knowsley Chamber, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and more.

Edward Perry, Chair of the Knowsley Place Board and Director of Operations at Knowsley Safari and Hall, said: “Yet again, this has been another fantastic awards ceremony. The quality of nominations is always really high and this year has been no different. The calibre of the business and regeneration community here in Knowsley is exceptional and the awards really do provide the opportunity to recognise and celebrate this together.”
