Where to get your COVID-19 vaccination in Knowsley

by Alison Cornmell

Given the rising cases of the Omicron variant, the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is to get vaccinated.

First, second and booster vaccines are available and if you’ve not yet had any vaccine, it’s not too late and residents are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

A number of pharmacies across the borough are offering COVID-19 vaccination appointments. They can be booked through the national booking system – visit  www.nhs.uk/coronavirus-vaccine or ring 119.

As well as pharmacy provision, vaccination clinics will be running in Kirkby between Tuesday 4 January and Friday 7 January at The Kirkby Centre, Norwich Way, L32 8XY from 10am until 4pm. No appointment is needed.

You can also book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment through your GP.

If you need help getting to and from a vaccination site, free transport is available. For appointments up to 3 January, call the Knowsley Volunteer Support Line on 0800 073 0043. From Tuesday 4 January, call Healthwatch Knowsley on 0151 449 3954 (open from 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday).

Let’s get vaccinated and play our part to help to reduce the spread of the virus in our communities.
