12 – 21 July is Love Parks Week, a time to celebrate gorgeous green spaces up and down the country.
Here in Knowsley, 18 of our parks have Green Flag Awards – an internationally recognised standard for the maintenance of green spaces.
Research shows that spending time outdoors can improve your mood, lower stress, help you to lose weight as well as a host of other health benefits. So pay a visit to your favourite park, or go out and explore somewhere you haven’t been before.
To celebrate Love Parks Week, there are a series of fun, free events taking place at a number of parks across the borough.
Get active in our parks
