Westlab, the UK’s leading bath salt and mineral wellness brand, has opened a new warehouse and production facility in Knowsley.
The site represents a total investment of over £7.25 million and is expected to create between 40 and 50 new jobs, supporting local employment while strengthening Westlab’s operational capabilities.
The Knowsley site significantly enhances Westlab’s manufacturing and logistics footprint. The facility spans 48,000sq ft and sits on an enclosed site of just over three acres, making it 50% larger than the company’s previous site in Surrey.
At the heart of the warehouse is a state-of-the-art production facility with the ability to produce up to 100,000 units of bath salt per day. This is supported by a large 30,000sq ft storage facility alongside seven unloading bays designed to ensure minimal turnaround times and maintain service levels for major UK and international retailers.
The relocation has increased Westlab’s total output capacity by around 75%, giving the business the scale and agility needed to meet rising consumer demand and support further product innovation.
