Weather warning: Risk of flooding in the region

The region is currently experiencing heavy rainfall, which is causing disruption to roads and increasing the risk of flooding to homes and businesses.

Additional resources have been deployed to respond to the large number of incidents faced at this time. In the event that you need to report any urgent flooding concerns please contact Knowsley.highways@tarmac.com or call 0800 023 2334. The service is experiencing a high volume of calls so please be patient. Alternatively you contact the Council’s General Enquiries number until 9pm this evening (20/1/2021) on 0151 489 6000. If there is an immediate threat to life call 999 immediately.
