Watch Council meetings online

by Jonathan Kearney

Although more COVID restrictions will be lifted later this month, members of the public can continue to watch Council meetings from the comfort of home.

A new website has been launched to allow people to watch live webcasts of Council meetings.

Recordings of meetings are also archived for six months, allowing you to watch at a later date.

During meetings you will also find links on the webcasting page to the agenda and reports for the meeting that you are watching, providing useful information about the issues that are being discussed.

To watch all you need is an internet connection and a device to view the webcast.

Webcasts can also be downloaded to enable you to watch meetings offline.

If you’d like to stay up to date with topics that interest you can subscribe for updates about forthcoming meetings.

For more information about the webcasts visit the website.

Members of the public are also welcome to attend the Council meetings in person but may be asked to leave for certain confidential items. More information about forthcoming meetings can be found on the Council website.
