Tower Hill Community Centre’s call out for Kirkby’s talented kids!

by KMBC

Kirkby’s Tower Hill Community Centre is looking for the next big star of the stage for its brand new Showstoppers Drama and Theatre Company.

They are asking all actors, singers and dancers between the ages of 8 and 12 to register their interest by emailing showstoppersperformingarts@outlook.com or calling 07957 959551. The organisers John and Tracey Millington will then invite them to join them for rehearsals in October.

Participants will be taught drama and performing arts skills and work in collaboration with John and Tracey to decide what productions the group will perform.

John Millington, Club Coordinator said

“Liverpool has produced some of this country’s greatest actors and performers including Kirkby’s very own Stephen Graham. The Showstoppers Drama and Theatre Company is a really fun way of developing and learning new skills, making friends and hopefully paving the way for a shining future!”

John and Tracey Millington have eight years’ experience of teaching drama at Westvale Primary School in Kirkby.

Places are limited and operates on a first come, first served basis. It costs £1 per week, per child.
