This week Knowsley Council has joined organisations across the country in support of ASB Awareness Week 2026.
The national campaign runs from 29 June to 5 July this year and shines a spotlight on the impact of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in our communities.
Knowsley Council’s Crime and Communities team has joined community safety partners and other council services in raising awareness of ASB across the borough this week.
This has included community ‘walkabouts’ in different parts of the borough and a community partnership day in Stockbridge Village today (Friday 3 July).
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, said: “Last year during ASB Awareness Week our Crime and Communities team engaged with around 500 residents across the borough to advise how to report ASB issues. It’s important our residents know that we will not tolerate ASB in Knowsley. Anti-social behaviour is something we take very seriously as a Council. It can have a huge impact on people’s safety and their health and wellbeing. If people are experiencing ASB it is vital that they report it to community safety partners in the borough so that action can be taken.”
