On Friday 31 October, the Every Breath Matters Kirkby team, in partnership with One Knowsley, Diva Creative Health, 12 Million Minds, Cancer Alliance, and Kirkby Primary Care Network, invite local residents to a frightfully fun and free Halloween celebration — “Trick, Treats n Tunes” — at St Chad’s Parade in Kirkby.
This Halloween-themed event promises a day full of music, costume crafting, and wellbeing activities — all with a spooky twist! Running from 10am to 4pm, the event is completely free and open to all.
Throughout the day, there will be:-
- 10am – 12pm: No Scare Just Care — unwind with chill chats, soothing sounds, and a chance to connect in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
- 12pm – 2pm: Frightening Facepaint, Mask Making & Spooky Scran — enjoy creative face painting and tasty Halloween treats, all free of charge.
- 2pm – 4pm: Demon Disco — dance the afternoon away with ghoulishly good tunes.
This event aims to bring people together, raise awareness about the lung cancer screening offer coming to Kirkby in November, and encourage community connection in a light-hearted and accessible way.
“Every Breath Matters is all about taking care of our community and helping people find head space to take charge of their health and wellbeing — and what better way to bring that to life than through a fun day of Halloween activities,” said Jayne Hoarty, a spokesperson for Every Breath Matters Kirkby Team “We want everyone to come along, relax, and enjoy themselves — no tricks, just treats!”
Come along and join in the fun!
