Speed up SMART testing time with NHS Login

by Guy Murphy

Knowsley residents who are being regularly tested at one of the borough’s SMART testing sites are being encouraged to sign up to NHS Login.

NHS Login makes it easier and quicker for resident’s to securely access digital health and care services, significantly decreasing the registration time at the testing site.

When signing up to NHS Login, residents will need to prove who they are. Once this is done, NHS login will then be connected to your NHS record and store all your information.

NHS Login users will not need to enter their personal details each time they visit a SMART Testing site and instead will just login using their username and password.

You can find out more about NHS Login here.

SMART testing is available to anyone who does not have symptoms and is unable to work from home. No appointment is needed. People can have the virus without knowing it or have any symptoms, so regular SMART testing is recommended to ensure that people who need to self-isolate can and ensure the virus is not (unknowingly) being passed on to other people
