Landmarks in Knowsley will be lit green and purple on Friday 19 July to mark the end of the year for many Knowsley schools.
The Greystone Bridge over the M62 will be illuminated green and the Archway Road bridge in Huyton will be lit purple.
Lighting the bridges publicly signals the start of the school summer holidays and children and young people across the borough can once again look forward to a range of FREE healthy activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme.
The HAF programme, delivered by Knowsley SNAP, offer a wide range of free activities, with a meal included as part of each session.
Activities will take place between Monday 22 July and Friday 30 August.
The programme is designed to provide opportunities for children and young people who are eligible for means-tested free school meals.
All eligible families will be issued vouchers containing a booking link so they can choose which activities they would like to attend.
You can find details of the full programme, including how to book and a map showing activity locations, on the One Knowsley website.
