Children’s Social Care Team Manager – Children with Disabilities
Children’s Social Care Team Manager
Salary is £53,460 to £54,495 per annum and the closing date is 26 July 2026 for the Children with Disabilities post and 31 July 2026 for the Children’s Social Care Team Manager post.
We’re looking for a qualified, highly experienced social worker and you will be professionally registered with Social Work England. You will have excellent understanding of childcare legislation and social work principles, with the ability to lead, direct and motivate teams. You will have experience of managing staff and resources including completing staff supervision and you will be committed to making a difference for Children, Young People and their families. It’s important you actively invest in your continuous professional development, and we will support you to do this.

Social Worker – Adult Social Care
Salary: Pay Band J – £37,280 to £39,152 per annum Pay Band K – £39,862 to £41,771 per annum Pay Band L – £42,839 to £44,075 per annum and the closing date is 31 July 2026
We are seeking Newly Qualified & Experienced Social Workers. If you are passionate about strengths-based practice, partnership working, and achieving positive change, we’d love to hear from you. The role includes working with adults with a wide range of needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, older adults, and carers; completing strengths-based assessments and develop person centred support plans; and undertaking safeguarding enquiries, applying professional curiosity and sound judgement.

Advanced Practitioner
Salary is £45,091 to £46,142 per annum and the closing date is 31 July 2026
We are looking for dedicated Advanced Practitioners to join our Hospital Discharge Team, and the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will drive practice development and improvement in the service and ensure the safe and effective delivery of services to adults with eligible care needs. You will provide professional leadership and supervision to Social Workers and Social Care Co-ordinators with a focus on supporting a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement. You will take a lead role supporting social work and support staff with complex cases.

As part of investment in our HR/Workforce service, an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Trainee Organisational Development Practitioner to join our Organisational Development (OD) team at Knowsley Council has arisen.
