Greystone footbridge lit up purple

Remembering road crash victims

by Gemma Melling

August is National Road Victim Month, organised by Road Peace a national charity for road crash victims in the UK.

On Thursday 31 August the Greystone footbridge will be lit in purple to remember road crash victims and also to honour the work of Pauline Fielding, who recently passed away.

Pauline was the Chairperson of Road Peace Northwest and was well loved by victims’ families, road safety professionals and emergency services colleagues across the region.

Knowsley will be joining Merseyside Police and other organisations to honour Pauline and her work.
