Winning in the Top Employers UK Awards is becoming a regular event for Kirkby-based QVC.

The shopping channel and e-commerce retailer has recently been crowned one of the top employers in the 2017 awards, the fourth year in a row that QVC have won the award.

Knowsley is home to the QVC UK Customer Operations Centre which has been a large employer in the borough for over 20 years.

The Top Employers UK Awards are intended to be a way to congratulate companies on providing a great place to work for its thousands of employees.

QVC’s award is based on independent research by the Top Employers Institute. It shows that QVC “provides exceptional employee conditions, nurtures and develops talent throughout all levels of the organisation and has demonstrated its leadership status in the HR environment, always striving to optimise its employment practices and to develop its employees”.

QVC is one of 71 companies to be recognised for their exceptional high standards in employee conditions, performance and talent management, compensation and benefits packages and culture.

Rachael Egerton, Director HR, QVC UK, said “We are delighted to be among only 71 companies in the UK to receive this accolade from the Top Employers Institute for the 4th year in a row.  It’s testament to our mission statement of ‘Creating a Great Place to Work’ and it makes us, and our employees, very proud.”
