Customer Service awards for Kirkby’s QVC UK

QVC UK, which has its Operations Centre here in Knowsley, is once again celebrating success in the The Top 50 Companies for Customer Service Awards.

The TV shopping channel company was named Best in Retail, and also came second in the Customer Service in Social Media category.

It means QVC has retained its top position for customer service for the fourth year in a row and is ranked second overall in all categories in this, the UK’s largest annual mystery shopping programme in which real customers rate the performance of brands.

Customer services for the retailer have been based at the Operations Centre in Knowsley since 1996. The facility on Knowsley Business Park in Kirkby houses a state-of-the-art Contact Centre which is manned seven days a week by expertly trained customer care professionals.

QVC also has close to 2.5 million followers on Facebook and 50,000 followers on Twitter, who have all helped the company also gain recognition for its social media customer service.
