Project EDWARD (European Day Without A Road Death) will take place on Thursday, 26 September 2019 – striving towards no fatalities on Europe’s roads.
Launched in 2016, the project is supported by drivers across the continent, along with public and private sector partners.
The long-term aim is to spearhead significant and sustained reduction in death and serious injury on roads across the world.
You can support Project Edward by pledging to reduce risk and improve safety on your road journeys, not just on 26 September but every day!
Project Edward aims for all road users to reflect on their behaviour and attitude whilst driving, riding or as a pedestrian aiming to prevent road collisions, injuries and deaths on our roads.
If you would like any further information or advice about road safety, please contact the council’s Road Safety team by emailing email@example.com or call 0151 443 2232.
Further information, including how to make your pledge, is available on the Project Edward website.
