Prescot town centre survey – next steps
Knowsley Council recently asked people to share their views on Prescot town centre and Prescot Shopping Centre to help shape future development plans.
In December last year, the council confirmed that it had bought the shopping centre, the former Stephenson’s Printworks building, the car park and additional retail units on Eccleston Street and Market Place.
During the three-week consultation, people were asked about how they currently use the town centre and shopping centre and their views on how this could be developed for the future.
More than 1,400 surveys were completed, these were a mixture of both online and printed surveys.
Next Steps
Council officers will now analyse the information collated and will share the findings in the next couple of months.
