PPE supplies available to support community organisations in Knowsley

by Jonathan Kearney

Hundreds of PPE supplies have been made available to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Knowsley and the wider City Region.

One Knowsley, along with others in Merseyside’s CVS network, has organised the initiative to help support local residents during this time.

Knowsley-based Livv Housing Group supported the CVS network to help deliver PPE to key sites across the region.

The PPE will allow community organisations to remain open and will play an important in ensuring local residents continue to receive the support they need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Racheal Jones, Chief Executive Officer, One Knowsley said:

“The support from Livv Housing Group has been outstanding and we are extremely grateful for their time and resource. They have went above and beyond to not only support our own relationship but also to support our CVS network across the Liverpool City Region.

Projects such as this one really do highlight the value of infrastructure organisations. We are all able to practically support our local community and voluntary organisations. This is our response to the sector showing concerns about the affordability of PPE.”
