Pass rate success for local college

Knowsley Community College has a lot to be proud of recently; for the second year running, the college has been given the title of the best further education college in the region for best overall vocational pass rates in 2016/17.

The statistics gathered by the Education and Skills Funding Agency also show that the college is in the top three further education colleges for pass rates amongst students aged 16 to 18 in the whole of the Liverpool City Region.

The success continues – the college has recently been ranked in the top 5% of general further education college’s in the country for their students’ performance in maths.

The principal of Knowsley Community College, Gill Banks, said: “The latest figures truly highlight the exceptional hard work and dedication provided by our teaching staff and students, to remain focused on achieving success. KCC is truly a great place to study and topping pass rate tables in the region proves this.”
