A special meeting of Knowsley Council takes place on Wednesday 7 March to set the authority’s budget for 2018/19.
Members will consider a number of reports relating to the council’s financial position, income and expenditure.
They will be asked to agree a range of permanent and one-off investments in key priority areas and set the level of Council Tax for 2018/19.
Members will also be asked to endorse Cabinet’s decision last month to increase the Living Wage paid to the council’s lowest-paid staff.
In addition, Members will be asked to endorse the council’s priorities for 2018/19, as outlined in the Corporate Plan.
