A Knowsley nursery is celebrating its first anniversary and a successful twelve months with many improvements to the children’s learning environment.
St John Fisher Catholic Primary Nursery in Knowsley Village opened its doors in January 2019 and welcomed 30 fresh faces excited for a new adventure.
Since then the Early Years (EYFS) team has developed both the indoor and outdoor environment to support the children’s needs and interests, providing them with a stimulating learning environment.
Mrs Forrest, Head Teacher at St John Fisher Catholic Primary, said,
“The children in nursery are a true credit to our school and we are very proud of each and every one of them, many of whom now are thriving in reception.
“Opening a Nursery at St John Fisher was a long held dream for many of us and we’re excited about where the next stage of our journey will take us. We have a wonderful environment and we have big plans for our Forest school development and embracing outdoor learning.”
A parent commented,
“The teaching is excellent and my child has come on leaps and bounds since starting last year! He absolutely loves coming to nursery and is very excited to go in everyday which is every parents dream.”
St John Fisher Nursery offers 15 hour and 30 hour places for 3 and 4 year olds as well as wrap-around care in the form of Breakfast Club and After- School Club.
