Cllr Christine Bannon, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, said: “I am delighted that Axess is expanding its offer in Knowsley with the opening of these new clinics.
“It is important that residents in all of our communities have access to healthcare provision and this clinic will ensure that residents can find the support they need locally.”
Axess offers a range of services including contraception, emergency contraception, asymptomatic (no symptoms) STI testing, implant fittings and removals, and pregnancy testing. Further information is available here.
Residents might also be able to access oral contraception from their local pharmacy. To find out what pharmacies in your local area offer this service click here.
