Councillor Graham Morgan, joined housebuilder Stewart Milne Homes to officially unveil three new show homes at its Callenders Green development in Prescot, Knowsley.

It is located on Scotchbarn Lane, on part of the former British Insulated Callenders Cables site which was demolished in 2006. Stewart Milne Homes has invested £11.5million into the development which will provide an additional seven affordable homes.
Plans for Callenders Green comprise a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, with a further mixture of detached, semi-detached and terraced housing options available.

“I was delighted to attend the unveiling of the new show homes at the Callenders Green development and to see first-hand the high-quality family homes available.
“This latest development for Prescot supports the council’s ambitious growth plans to increase the choice and availability of high quality housing in the area by providing a wider choice of housing both for our existing residents as well as new people moving into Knowsley.”
The launch of the show homes at Callenders Green marks a significant milestone in the construction of the development which began in March this year. The first phase of family homes is due to be completed in Autumn 2018.
A total of three show homes are now available for viewing, including the four-bedroom detached Denewood, the three-bedroom semi-detached Capelwood and the three-bedroom semi-detached Castlewellan.
