New café opens in Huyton

by Guy Murphy

A new café has recently opened in Huyton Village Centre.

Morning & Co is based at 53 Derby Road in the heart of the village centre and opened on 18 October.

Ozan, Owner of Morning & Co, said “We chose Huyton because it has a lovely community feel and a growing local scene. We wanted to bring something warm and welcoming to the heart of the village — a place where people can enjoy great coffee, homemade desserts and a relaxed atmosphere from morning until evening.

“This is our first outlet and we’re so excited to start our journey here in Huyton.”Morning & Co is open from 7am until 5pm each day and their extensive menu is designed for breakfast, brunch and lunch and includes a range of hot and cold beverages, toasties, full English breakfast, focaccia sandwiches, Benedict’s, croissant sandwiches, homemade desserts and more – all freshly prepared each day. They also serve speciality coffees made with freshly roasted coffee beans, ensuring every cup is rich and full of flavour.

Ozan said “Our space combines natural wood and white tones for a calm, cosy atmosphere — perfect for mornings, family breakfasts or catch-ups with friends.

“I’ve received a really warm welcome from the local community. I’d encourage anyone to come in and say hello and enjoy the great range of food and drinks we have available.”

Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, added: “It’s great to welcome another new offer in Huyton Village Centre and see an empty shop unit being brought back into use. I wish Morning & Co every success with their new venture.”
