Need help to get / from a COVID vaccine site? We can help

by Alison Cornmell

It’s now easier and more convenient to get your COVID-19 vaccination in Knowsley. There are lots of sites in Knowsley and the surrounding area and you can find out where and when you can vaccinated by visiting www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or by ringing 119.

Drop in clinics (no appointment needed) are also operating and the dates and locations for the forthcoming clinics can be found here.

The vaccine offers you the best protection from the virus and if you’re a Knowsley resident struggling to get to / from a vaccination site, a taxi can be arranged for you.

The Council is working in partnership with Healthwatch Knowsley to provide a taxi service for residents who do not have access to transport to get to a drop-in vaccination site or to a pre-booked appointment.

Call 0151 449 3954 (lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and 10am to 5pm at weekends) and they will talk you through your options to get to your appointment or a drop in clinic close by to you.

This service is available for journeys to and from the closest vaccination site to you and the free transport offer has been extended until the end of September.
