Final preparations are underway for a mydentist to open its doors in Kirkby town centre over the coming weeks.
This week, the unit on Telegraph Way in Kirkby Town Centre has had new shop front signage and window graphics installed with the full internal fit out due to complete very soon.
The practice will offer limited NHS services where available, as well as affordable private dentistry and includes dental plans and finance options to help patients to spread the cost of their treatment.
Treatments include dental implants, teeth straightening, teeth whitening, composite bonding, dentures, and dental bridges.
Mydentist will enhance health and dental services in Kirkby and it will be open five days a week – 9am until 4pm on Monday and 9am until 5pm on Tuesday to Friday.
Further information about the services and how to register can be found on the mydentist website or you can also call 0151 546 2670.
Liam Neath, Area Development Manager at mydentist, commented:
“The move to Telegraph Way in Kirkby will substantially improve access to our practice, with better transport links and parking options for our patients. While we work to ensure the practice is ready to open its doors officially at the end of June, our team remains committed to providing patients with the best possible level of care.”
Liam concluded:
“We’re delighted that through moving to the new site, we’ll be able to take on a limited amount of new NHS patients, with new dentists set to join the team in the coming months. We look forward to welcoming patients into the new practice in June and to delivering affordable care to the community of Kirkby, so that they can continue to access the vital dental care that they need. We’re delighted that we’ll also be able to offer patients a greater amount of convenience through our online booking service, through which they’ll be able to book hygiene and consultation appointments.”
Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said:
“It’s been great to witness the unit on Telegraph Way transform over the last few months into a modern dental practice, which I know many of our residents have asked for. I’m really looking forward to mydentist opening their doors over the coming weeks, welcoming new patients and being part of Kirkby’s transformation.”
