Month to go before Knowsley Feelgood Festival and Flower Show

by Alison Cornmell

Today marks a month until the Knowsley Feelgood Festival and Flower Show on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August.

The two days promise to provide something for everyone to enjoy – from fantastic floral displays to fun family activities to boost your wellbeing and mental health. There is a packed programme of events for the whole weekend including live music, art workshops, story trails and a tempting range of food and drink stalls.

Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods said:

“This year’s event has been a long time coming and is set to be our biggest Feelgood Festival and Flower Show yet. What’s most exciting is that its return comes during our year as Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture.

“Culture is so many things, it can be art and theatre but it’s also about community and coming together – that’s what makes the Feelgood Festival and Flower Show so special. I urge all our residents and those across the city region to visit our wonderful Court Hey Park for the weekend’s events and enjoy a truly colourful and fulfilling time.”

Below are some highlights that you can enjoy during the two days and keep an eye out on social media for further details closer to the time! Follow @cultureknowsley on InstagramTwitter and Facebook or visit www.cultureknowsley.co.uk.
