Local contractors invited to Sustainable Warmth event

by Jonathan Kearney

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is hosting an event for suppliers and installers interested in being involved in the delivery of the Sustainable Warmth Fund.

The Combined Authority is managing the £18.5m Sustainable Warmth Fund on behalf of Knowsley, Halton, St Helens and Wirral.

The funding from the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) will be used to install energy efficiency measures and low-carbon heating to 1,300 mostly private sector homes to tackle fuel poverty and achieve Net Zero Carbon objectives.

The event is taking place on Thursday 14 April at 1 Mann Island, Liverpool, between 2pm and 4pm.

There will be presentations from the LCRCA and Procure Plus outlining the details of the Sustainable Warmth Fund, the process for becoming involved and Social Value objectives. There will also be an opportunity for organisations to network and build awareness of other installers and suppliers through breakout discussions.

Both SMEs and larger installers and suppliers are invited to attend.
