Launch of the DisabledGo website in Knowsley

by Laura Johnston

Come along to the launch of the DisabledGo website, giving disability access information about more than 600 venues across Knowsley.

The launch of the local DisabledGo site, which aims to maximise independence and choice for disabled people, will be held at The Venue, Civic Way, Huyton, L36 9GD, on Tuesday, 16 May, between 1 – 4pm.

The online guide provides comprehensive access information about a wide range of venues and attractions across Knowsley, including council buildings, libraries, children’s centres, leisure centres, community halls, train and bus stations, and many more.

All the venues included on the DisabledGo website have been visited and accessed by a trained surveyor, so you get all the facts from someone who has experienced the attraction first hand.

If you would like to attend the launch event, please contact Emily Edgar at DisabledGo on 07801 498411 / 01438 842710 (emily.edgar@disabledgo.com), and let her know if you have any special requirements.
