Latin American themed children’s activities are coming to Knowsley’s libraries

by Alison Cornmell

Children and young people will be able to experience an exciting range of Latin American Arts & Cultural activities with Knowsley Library Service in June – and all the activities are free!

With interactive storytelling sessions, colourful carnival makes and traditional music activities, there’s lots going on!

The programme is a celebration of Latin American Arts and Culture designed to ignite and inspire children’s creativity.

Knowsley Library Service will host the sessions run by LUMA Creations in Huyton and Stockbridge Village libraries.

Cllr Jayne Aston, Knowsley Council Cabinet Member for Resources, said:

“I’m delighted we will be hosting this exciting and inspiring programme of Latin American Arts & Cultural activities for children and young people. Our libraries are welcoming and accessible community facilities and we’re looking forward to children once again taking part in fun, creative and inspiring sessions in our branches.”
