Knowsley’s multi-storey car parks to close during national lockdown

by Jonathan Kearney

Knowsley’s multi-storey car parks will close for the duration of the national lockdown period.

The two multi-storey facilities at Norwich Way, Kirkby and Lathom Road, Huyton will reopen when national restrictions are lifted.

Both car parks will close from the evening of Tuesday 5 January 2021.

Alternative parking provisions, including long and short stay facilities, will remain open. These include:

Huyton

Huyton Hey (long stay)
Archway Road (short stay)

Kirkby

St Chad’s Clinic
Cherryfield Drive
Kirkby Market (short stay)

During the national lockdown period, which was announced on Monday 4 January, all residents should remain at home wherever possible.

You should work from home if you are able to and not mix with people from other households.

All non-essential shops, leisure and hospitality venues will close during the lockdown period to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
